So you’re wondering what the rest of Harvard looks like… where Harvard alumni George W Bush stayed along with the likes of Tommy Lee Jones and Natalie Portman. Harvard Yard is the main heart of the campus which includes classrooms, library, apartments and very old looking buildings. In the main area of the yard you’ll find the John Harvard statue there known as the “statue of three lies” Lie # 1: It’s not John Harvard’s face as no one knew what he looked like. Lie # 2: John Harvard isn’t the founder of Harvard University and was renamed Harvard a few years later. Lie #3: inscription on the statue says Harvard was founded in 1638 and it was founded in 1636. We also got the unofficial tour and let into some secrets that students have to do before graduating …. I have yet to be naked whilst checking out a library book ….
